A mate who has a Series 1 Roadster E-Type and is thinking of selling tells me the market has turned and they have started to severely drop in value - although some are still advertising at 'last years prices' they are no longer selling. He recons a £50k drop in a Series 1 Roadster to get a sale. Anyone noticed across other rarer vehicles - like some of the squashed Beetles people have on here Will it spread to bikes if true I might get saving for a half price Desmo
sounds like a preemptive strike to me. you trying to influence the market there exe?. i;m toying with selling my fiat coupe btw.
8.5 or take a hike, plenty of other ones out there that HAVE been tampered with the help of youtube and karcher
There looks to have been a pan market lull in sales over the last 2 or so months affecting both cars and bikes yet last month I think it was a Ferrari sold for a world record price. I also have a strong feeling of deja vu as the same question was asked when you were buying your first 1098R which also seem to have plateaued recently. Andy
Probably over hyped classic cars and bikes may loose some value but genuine classics won't there's some silly prices being asked for very ordinary vehicles Eg £5k for a Morris Marina £9k for a Suzuki T500 It seems anything in today's market can achieve classic status
For me i think the market is overheated and a reality check is required for allbut i hope our ducati's stay strong
Bayliss 1098R's will drop like a stone in the next few months and I'd sell now if I had one. I hear of poor saps that actually have two.
