So what have you done today..?

This morning I have striped the rear brakes on my Vivaro van because the hand brake levers were not returning, I also had the flange on my exhaust down pipe rust off so I cut the mating flange off and fitted a stainless sleeve over the joint as the rest of the system was perfect. Very productive morning up to now.

Drove to Venice Marco Polo airport to drop the better half off, traffic nightmare coming home so came back through the mountains on the travisio motorway absolutely stunning scenery, Harley Davidsons are everywhere apparently a big meet in Austria but they were everywhere in Italy and slovenia at kranjska gora there's a do on but Austria is the main one, I was taking pictures and all the Harley lot probably thought I liked them reality is I think they are dogshit, I was following a couple on a bendy road I was driving slowly in my old mans Kia Sorento and they couldn't pull away the preparation they put in to get round a bloody corner, ugly big lumps and if I never hear another one it will be too soon. At least the Ducati turned up nice looking bike too.....oh and I saw 3 Harley's that looked very broken down surprise, to be fair they were riding in some terrible rain at some points with their music blasting from the bikes.

 

Did an extra day at work today, really, really hard day. Was asked to put some miles on a customer's brand new V4S so it could have it's first service before he goes on a tour next week. Real bummer of a day ......... NOT ! Andy

 

Intrigued from Ireland. What do you do that necessitates driving through virtually every European country? Just nosey?

Ha ha, you are not nosey at all, I do removals or man and van type stuff, my parents have a place near bled slovenia, they rent apartments so are here running that until next month then return to England, basically I concentrated on getting work that bought me here to see them my Mrs either comes with me or flies at least one way so everyone's happy, working holidays kinder on the van too just long steady drives not too much stop start, next month it's Spain though so looking forward to that, what have I done today? I have been in bed since teatime last night so I'll get up suns out might give the mountain bike a run

 

Last trip to Bangor university. Car full. Trek home.
