  1. Struggle to watch it these days, not smethin on he record list for sure. Dont even object when swmbo says we are watching Midwife thingy on beeb 1

  2. Messed around on here first thing. Went next door for a coffee and a chat. Came home and watched first half of the first half of the Villa vs West Ham match before I fell asleep. Woke up half way through the second half and watched that.

Then messed on here for 30 mins before watching the Man Utd vs Everton match.

Then watched Ski Sunday, made something to eat and now I'm back on here. I'll just be dipping in and out whilst watching Sunday evening shite on TV :upyeah:

A brandy has soothed my throat a little... I'm really busy this coming week at work! :frown:

I need to contact them as now had two faulty ones in months :( not pleased.

  8. Yesterday went for a ride on M400.
Is such a strange bike to ride !
Need adjustable levers as my hands have shrunk!
Stopped somewhere been meaning to for ages and menu looked nice .

It was the worst food I have ever eaten in my life was like slops!!!

I had to leave it .
Orderd apple pie thought pretty safe.

    How wrong could I be.
Apple like baby food mush and soggy pastry that was like soggy bread soaked in lard..
It was such bad food ...

Today went to check out some animals someone thought sick.
    Didn't make more porridge.

  9. Did you complain?

  11. Took my 18 year old cat to the vets for the final time. RIP Shorty, may the mice be small and slow and the laps big and soft

  12. Me too Steve :frown:

  13. What a nightmare, Faulty brand new Oxford Grips, rang customer services no help whatsoever, they must be returned to the retailer that they were purchased from, bought for my birthday last October a gift from my parents who are 87 years old. My sister who lives in Spain purchased them of e-bay and had them delivered to my parents house. She has no internet connection at her home so has to go to a friends to find the retailer and so on and so on, what a performance. I wonder whether it's all worth it.
Anyway on the bright side I had 6 hours work today and possibly a day on Wednesday.
    Steve

  14. Sad news:frown:

  17. Just keeping in with the flow :)

  18. Fixed an electrical issue, oil leak and dragging clutch on a KTM450 - now officially the easiest bike I've ever worked on!!

Stripped a YZF1000 ready for a service and another oil leak fix - Officially the most number of screws holding on fairing panels (in my humble experience) not a quick release to be seen!!

Oh and to keep with the Ducati flavour - removed the front subframe from our 748 to get a repair underway.

  19. So they were a gift, but purchased off e-bay and they are faulty and you are surprised that Oxford say you need to go to the retailer? You do realise your issue is with the retailer and not Oxford? Their customer services were quite right to send you back.

  20. Waited in for a man to sort out my waste drain ewwww
It decided to lift up and leak this morning
Luckily I have drain cover through British Gas who came out and told me that Welsh Water are responsible for shared drains
    Waiting for them now

Made and tossed my first pancakes im so pleased with myself
    :)
