TD at Rockingham. Apparently it's the last ever (for the time being) motor event here.

 

Brilliant ride out of Hanoi into the mountains to a country lodge for the annual company outing.

Bike performed flawlessly, didn't miss a beat including some really cruddy roads. Owner less so... about 5 km from where we were heading I took a wrong turn and ended up down a badly rutted narrow little track. Had to turn around... you guessed it from wheel got snagged up in a rut and down we went...
Handgaurd on the right gone,right mirror gone, brake lever - front and rear bent. Surprisingly no damage to the tank fairing or anything else. Not a scratch.
SWMBO OK, me no major damage ,but my right foot and my ribs on the right hand side hurt like hell... Will be a fun 4 hour trek home tomorrow...
The insurers will be happy Out here the're is no concept of a no claim bonus or reduced premiums so the average Vietnamese claims everything... Ducati Hanoi will sort it for me so that's easy. Will be interesting to see how long it takes to get the parts...

Just had a shakedown on the SPS as it was going in monday to the local for a techincal problem as it was cutting out everytime i was gassing it hard but today with no fairing on it behaved impeccably how very,very strange.So will retest again tomorrow and see
