Battery Connections...

  1. As above....just fitted a denali soundbomb to my hyper, and ovbiously ive got a tap off the battery, and on the bike there are a few other things that are tapped off the battery...so, the battery terminals are quite packed...on mine ive got...

    1. The Soundbomb.
    2. Tail for the Opimate.
    3. Bluetooth transmitter for the battery (app gives me the battery health, voltage etc etc)
    4. Im sure theres a 4th but cant remember...Healtech QS i think..

Anyway, does anyone have an alternative to hooking up x amount of stuff to the battery...pics ?

  2. Longer Bolts? - feck knows where to buy tinned copper ones though...

  3. Im already there...just wondered if there was a tidier alternative....

  4. Only by introducing more connections / brackets I guess - which is fine if the main leads are still direct to the battery.

  5. terminals look like they could be a bit weak...good effort though....

  6. There are a few different options on the site... so check them out some more $ some less $

  7. I’ve got a power distribution module. Basically acts like a relay with multiple connectors. Nice and tidy.

  8. pics?

can you fit an optimate tail to it so you can " Charge the other way " as it were...

  9. 2 ways I can think of are

    1) As already suggested some sort of power distribution module something like this

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/INNOVV-Dis...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=TD4FENNK48T7NZDBGA83

Or Centech AP-2 which is just really a fuse box, there are a load of them out there I did a wiring diagram for a guy using a PDM60 but they are bit pricey

    https://www.nippynormans.com/f650st...er-distribution-module-with-programming-cable

Nippy Norman seems to have a few

    https://www.nippynormans.com/fuse-panels

    2) If it's just a few connections why not wire them up at the solenoid or starter, which has a big heavy cable going to it directly from the battery

I don't really know the bike or how practical that would be though so I could be talking rubbish

  10. Good idea on the starter solenoid front but, the bolt coming out of the solenoid is a bit short....however, thats given me a bit of an idea....
