I'm ecstatic - today I tried on a piece of clothing I haven't worn for 17 years, and it fitted perfectly. Admittedly, it was a scarf, but hey, let's be positive about this....
As the workshop is absolutely flat out, I decided to fit the heated grips I ordered for Carole’s Scrambler myself. Fitting the grips was the easy bit, connecting the wiring definitely needed someone with smaller hands than me. The pre wired heated grip connectors are buried under the front, right hand side of the petrol tank between the airbox and the frame and the instructions said, remove the tank. The pump pipe connectors are different to the 748 and 1098 and are a real pain and the breather pipes must have been fitted on wet paint. Still job done and now need to pay a visit to the workshop to get the button enabled. Andy
