Getting high, the bathroom chaps have nearly finished and today the early smell of industrial paint is now being replaced with the fumes of industrial floor covering glue as the vinyl goes down. I love the smell of Napalm in the morning.
Sorry to hear that. I broke mine protecting my wife's valued camera in a fall whilst out walking. After an injection in the backside at the hospital (which was more painful than the break) I was told I might get a chest infection which I thought was a bit random. Sure enough I succumbed to an infection, coughing with a broken rib was the worst bit. Apparently it's due to not breathing deep enough, something you do subconsciously to protect the break. Hope you can avoid that bit of 'recovery' and well soon.
Thanks @Carr01, the issue of of a chest infection is something I am painfully aware of, having lost my father due to extreme frailty and recurring bouts of pneumonia exactly because he could no longer cough strongly enough. Hopefully I will be able to avoid the infection.
No sold a refurb and a rental. Completed on the refurb today and the rental house sale fell through yesterday. My own house has just gone on the market as well and have a viewing tonight at 6.30 so busy cleaning up.
In that case good luck, bad luck and good luck again! We've recently gone 'sold subject to contract' on our home, so no more constantly having to clean up.
Completed on all 3 of my new builds yesterday! Happy days. When knee is better I must go to the Bahamas
Gets boring when you do It for a living but I’ve never had 3 on the same day so that was a charm. Usually at least one Falls through
People have tried using brexit as an excuse to beat the prices down on my new builds. Do you reckon there’s any weight to that argument when It comes to houses selling? The estate agent I use reckons Bugger all Is selling.
It's a strange one round here. Bog standard boxes with no character are selling. Properties like mine with some "charm"/out of the ordinary are taking time.
Have you accepted the offer? If so is that not SSTC? Or have they not been financially qualified yet?
Pretty much the same here. All those crappy new houses built with ten tubes of grip fill and superglue sell easily. I think it’s because the sellers offer incentives like kitchen choice and stamp duty paid so that makes it easy for people to buy. My properties are at the higher end of the scale so the potential sales for me are a small percentage of the market. The character properties are harder to sell here
