@J biker are you going to post Rossi themed replies on the "What music are you listening to?" thread?
Well, they let "Lorenzo the fixer" leave. So not much chance unless he comes back. Maybe Rossi could pop into the Honda garage next year and ask Jorge for some tips?
Again Rob you have your race history mixed up because didn't Rossi leave Honda in 2003 and go to Yamaha in 2004 with Jerry Burgess & Co and fix the bike for them by turning it into a winning machine before Lorenzo was born
Hmmmmm, ancient history. I seem to remember Lorenzo left Yamaha at the end of 2016 winning the last race of the season on that bike. Vinales jumped on his winning bike and started to romp away at the start of the 2017 season and looked unbeatable, but without Lorenzo's input, it all started going pear shaped, to the point that they may as well be riding around on Harleys these days and haven't won a race this year. In fact, they haven't won a race since round 8 of 2017, when the other teams started to pull away, without Jorge's input. Lorenzo jumped on a Ducati at the beginning of 2017 and immediately began developing the bike. Initially struggling himself, Dovizioso started to reap the reward of Lorenzo's undoubted development ability and won his 1st race of the season at round 6. He won a further 6 races that season and came second in the championship to MM. Previously to this purple patch for Dovi, he had been on the Ducati for 4 years and won............1 race. So the development has nothing to do with him, obviously. The Ducati, with Lorenzo's input has won 6 of the 12 rounds this season. The Honda (or should I say MM) has won the other 50% with only Cal's Argentina win, being the only time MM hasn't been the only person to beat the superb, Lorenzo developed Ducati. We salute your undoubted skill and development ability Mr Lorenzo.
#The Ducati was a winning machine before Lorenzo arrived on the scene with Dovi in 2016/2017,Mr Whippy has just plugged the lead back in that's why he's on form and the confidence is buiding and good luck to himand Yamaha have not been spending the money i guess with their old nail
Yeah, as I said, 1 race win in 4 years. A fine winning machine it certainly was. Actually, I'm being a bit disingenuous. Andrea Iannone also won 1 race. So from 2011 to 2016 (pre Lorenzo) That fine Ducati won 2 races out of a possible..................108 races with Dovizioso, Iannone, your hero Rossi, & Hayden. What an awsomely developed race machine it was by all those pilots before Lorenzo arrived. Do you want your shovel back mate?
