here an early indication on what will def be possible on the R this is the result of race airfilter/open exhaust/rapidbike race combo on a Pani base. it makes a great difference with the early maps everybody knows as having a killer dip between 5 and 7K revs.. this bike was on slicks on a calibrated dyno and comes from a start of 168 RWBHP... now : 193 rwbhp. what is most impressive is that most of the dips are gone and that torque stays above 100nm as off 4K rev's! the R is to be aimed at 198 rwbhp as it will pull through to 12K revs.. thank god for TCS'
NIce, but title is very misleading. I thought it meant a base panigale dyno at stock 193rwhp. And even then, with the full system, air filter, its not mentioned what the bike is as you mentioned the r model later. Sry, slightly confused.
Sorry for that. it is a Pani base bike, modified wit the OTC corsa Termignoni and race airfilter and a Rapidbike Race module. It shows what the engine as stock is capable of if you let it breath and give it a decent mapping. it also shows that the 'not as great as a 1198R' torque and powerdelivery are mostly due to the stock engine setup to comply with emission rules.
hmmm lies damm lies and statistics.... heres a pani with termis versus a well know race bike to the site ...........pick a number!!
Cannot read it, it's blurred. Also the enigma of the 'well known race bike ' is killing me, go on, give us more info.
the red line is a panigale with termis, the blue line is a 1098R engined race bike. you can see the difference and where the 200 and 175 marks are plus the torque peaking around the 100 on the 1098r and under on the panigale the dyno is mark at BSD peterboro......
it's hard to compare dyno's... but apart from where the lines are on the scale, the curves on my chart are way smoother than the BSD tested bike.. and at 10-10,5K there almost the same.. whereas BSD's cuts of, the other one goes on.. and the torque curve remains steadier throughout... the owner of that pani also has a hyper well prepared 1098R and affirms that the pani has one hell of a job at it's hand to beat the 1098 ... but eventually will... grtz
