Apparently they supplied it new and to the 2nd owner. It does look mint to be fair. It may have been with me having one leg shorter than the other.

Why do people do this ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-7...721126?hash=item2867c5ffa6:g:qvUAAOSwuPlbbVEq There is no such thing as a 2003 748R and if there was, it wouldn’t have Showa forks with the early small front caliper fixing spacing. Andy

Here is a £950 750 Ducati. The best thing is the fact that it is in god condition apparently. Looks in better condition than my S4 so I cannot make any sarcastic comments! Ducati 750 Supersport 1993 Restoration Project with no reserve- on eBay UK

Couple of things to note here: As soon as a would be thief lifts the cover they would run a mile so no need for the 3 chains locking it... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-m...913979?hash=item3d741abb3b:g:m-IAAOSwTw5bnoC4
When is a Monoposto not a Monoposto? Looking at these examples, they seem to have the biposto subframe (rear footpeg hanger fixing points seem to be visible). Did Ducati really do Monopostos with Biposto subframes? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-9...m=172591935724&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-9...m=263909364695&_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982 I was under the impression that genuine Monposto bikes had the alloy rear subframe with no pillion footpeg hangar mounts.
