What do people think is a fair price for this? It needs a full service & belts but I can do that. €3k seems a bit high, but what do I know? I used to have an M900 and I miss it. https://www.donedeal.ie/view/19842409 2001 Ducati Monster M900 i.e. TIA
im certainly no expert either but i think you are right with the price being a lil high... think if it had had the service it requires, the price would be about right at the minuet
Too high. Given it’s not been used for a few years it’s going to need some “recommissioning “ I’d have said 2 - 2.25k was more like it
@PaulPhillips There was what appeared to be a nice M900 on Ebay just a few miles from me last week. It had a starting price of £2250 and received no offers by the time it ended. This bike was in Newport Pagnell , is that too far for you to travel?
Thanks @dukesox, I actually live in SW Ireland. The bike that's on sale here in Ireland is in Dublin which is still 350+km away. At an asking of €3000 which equates to £2650, compared to some comments above it's high, but I guess that's his/her starting point. Paul
Its the end of summer so everything (should be or) is about to be cheaper! I have one and well looked after bikes fetch £2500 =/- in stock form. I'd say that one is at the top of it value, but it is an asking price, so it will probably come down? The injection makes the bike more usable than the carb version - easier and more amenable to starting! LOL. Early '93 cost more, but I doubt they will ever really be collectible or an investment and certainly not for a good while yet. You could try posting a thread on the http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/index.php forum asking who is selling, This happens often and many people have bought bikes they are happy with (according to their posts). I think there are a couple forsale at present. I waste lots of time and money messing about with mine. I doubt I will sell it anytime soon, and definitely not for that amount of money.
