I think Jorge, Dani and Valentino are still another level

  1. Modest and playing mind games??

  2. A charm offensive so as not to come across as a cocky little bugger:rolleyes:

  3. yeah he would, so when he beats them he'll be one step closer to god

  4. A new champion for 2013?

  5. It's not that remote a possibility you know. Imagine if he won the title in his rookie year. I don't think I could stomach reading the gushing, superlatived ridden articles from everyone at the end of the year though...

It's still less likely to happen than not, but imagine if one of Jorge, Dani and Vale took one of each other out early and missed races through injury... GAME ON!

  6. I managed a quick chat with Julian Ryder at the Telford Classic show last weekend. He reckons Marquez has a lot of similarity with Rossi in his early days and we all know what he did.

Also reckoned that MM is close to riding off the edge of the tyres!

  7. I think this year will be a learning curve with a few crashs...
But next year onwards He will be in a class of his own.
I can see JL and DP getting upset with his hard riding this year.

  8. Got to agree with the above if history is anything to go by, he'll crash a few times, but he'll probably nab a few poles plus upset a few people along the way, look at Casey, Jorge, Marco for example.

He does have the best bike in the paddock so there is a good chance he could win a few races, I'm sure he will if I am honest but 2014 will be his coming of age IMO

  9. I agree. this year he will be like Lorenzo was and he'll crash more than he finishes. But he'll learn a lot. Next year he will come good.

  10. Next year he'll be unstoppable (assuming he stays fit)

  11. Marc my words (excuse the pun). This kid is hungry and seriously talented. He's gunna upset all the boys at the front . Definate champion in his rookie year!

  12. I think, honestly, this is Pedrosa's year. He's always been fast, but now he seems to have the mental strength too, he's happier to dice these days and happier in the wet, and he ain't gonna want to be shown up by a rookie. But I can see Marquez winning races before the year's out.

  13. I can't believe we agree on this ... but I can't quite bring myself to say anyone is the favourite other than Jorge.

  14. If Dani stays fit, he's always a threat. Problem is as soon as he comes off he breaks something and is off for three races. He, probably more than most, deserves a title win

  15. I'd like to see Pedrosa win. He's always been the bridesmaid and never the bride. Up until now he's not had the killer touch. Maybe MM may be his inspiration.

We can only speculate. But we'll see soon enough.
