Walked round the garden fed the birds and got saturated and frozen hands so any of you on motorcycles today.... total respect
Fitted bobbins to the bike, took panel off to start looking at satnav power, and found one of the frame grommets for the panel was squashed. Couldn’t get the edge out, so panel back in, grommet in!! Had another grommet to use for now, but had to add some tape around the arm that goes in as it was too loose...not turned a mile and need it fixing already may as well have stayed with Ducati
My neighbour asked me this morning , "Ron, you've been happily married now for 23 years. What's your secret"? I said "You'll have to speak up, I'm as deaf as a post"
Track it myself....connection is between my phone and the bike. Just spoke to @chrisw on the messaging who got me my first one. Just gonna start messing around with all the different commands. My mate has one, his motocrosser got knicked. He recovered it inside and hour and the would be thief got knocked out on his own doorstep...police were not called. The trick is hiding it away where it cant be gotten to easily...
Heres the one im using (well, 3 of them)! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Vehi...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I bought 2 and offered 15 for each which he accepted...
If and when you get one...when you fit it try to find somewhere where it cant be found and, not under anything metal...ie a tank (if its metal). Find a ground, and a live (when the bike is off) theres a small battery on there - i think it runs for about 4 hours maybe @chrisw can be more accurate than me...theres a 3rd orange wire which is the ignition sensor...you can attach that to the ignition wire or take a tap off of something that powers up when the ignition is turned (side lights or something like that) - if youve got a meter handy use that to look for a 12v tap...
