Gig was good, though it was a short set......only an hour and ten mins. So a bit disappointing from that POV. The copious amounts of drinks though have screwed up my day. I still feel shite.
2nd ceiling down, cleaned up, 30 minute shower to wash the muck off. Stage one done, wiring and network stuff next week..
Finally made it to our first destination in Iseo. It was touch and go though, barely found our way out of the Venice airport parking ramp with our rental car. After spending an hour trying to get the correct rental car reservation # which required adding international service to my phone to go online. Then we couldn't figure out the car navi . Luckily I had Internet service and Google Maps saved the day. Two hours later...we run across countless motorcycles on the road leading up to our hotel. Lost count there were so many. About 6km, with several switchbacks. One person blew a turn, they were pulling the bike back up onto the road as we went by. 3 others passed us on a blind curve!! Downright craziness.
Today I have been mostly nursing a hangover. We went to the food festival in Holmfirth and for the first time ever it was poor with probably half the amount of stands there than before. I suspect the “powers that be” have become greedy charging for the pitches based on the success of the past. It’s come to bite them on the arse.

3 hours of watching the boys play football, 3 hours of decorating their rooms (i had over the summer put up a new stud wall all by myself), then 2 hours mowing the lawn and now about to peruse the interweb for an 848 before getting stuck into 'designated survivor...'
Dragged my arse out of my sick bed and joined a social ride out. Doped up with man flu medicine and had a really good ride in some lovely weather. Even got to enjoy a cream tea, although I had coffee. Andy

Yes, alternating paracetamol and ibruprofen to kill the pain from my sinuses but enjoyed our run out in the sun today. I'll post pictures after the bike has gone through pdi and polishing. Andy
Going for a spin around Connemara tomorrow. SWMBO has been in Dubai visiting the brother and hopefully returning with a new Ducati Corse polo shirt!!
Coolio. Great roads there. iirc there’s a cracking road between Kylemore Abbey and Clog. In fact starting in Clifden, taking in the Sky Road then onwards on the N59 is luvverly. Enjoy.
