  14. 'Crashing the gate' the locals call it, going on a boat trip and going under the bridge I'd call it!
    Love SF, got married there, then drove to New Orleans over three weeks.

  16. The boat trip was on a friends 40’ yacht. I reckon beating through against a F6 with 3 reefs in the main could well be described as crashing the gate lol.
    Amazingly, the wind is only like that in the ‘slot’.
    Head over towards Sausalito and
    the temperature soars, the wind drops, the mist disappears and you are sunbathing on deck.
