It looks to have a few changes/mods, and yes the milage is higher than usual on these bikes but not really an issue to me as long as it has been well maintained (my Sport Classic has over 40000km and no issues).
About the owners, is this shop known? Or any info on the current/past "owners"?

Nope. 748BP. But 1999MY so same spec as the 2000 onwards S, save for 3 spoke Brembos rather than 5 spoke, but I prefer the gold 3 spoke anyway.

The 2000 above could be a good contender, but as I prefer the earlier versions I give me more time to see what could be available.
