  7. 1.2secs off the pace. Think checa would have been a lot closer than that if he was riding. There is some hope then it wont be a total wipeout this yr!!

  11. Crash.net shows Carlos 0.3 off the pace, big improvement. Phillip Island suits Dukes normally.

    Spaniard Carlos Checa has backed up his morning warning to stay on top of the timesheets during today’s afternoon WSBK test session at Phillip Island ahead of this weekend’s season opener.
    Checa set the fastest time today with a 1m31.059s lap on board his Ducati Panigale, ahead of BMW’s Marco Melandri (1m31.237s) and Suzuki’s Leon Camier (1m31.243s). Kawasaki’s Tom Sykes didn’t let his fractured wrist bother him setting an impressive 1m31.261s lap
