I've finally got around to sorting out fitting my RCS brake and clutch master cylinders. So far I'm happy with them My question however is if anyone had a solution to retaining the fast idle when the OME switch gear has been removed. I find it useful for warming up the bike on track so would like to retain it in some way. Any suggestions?
Convert to single cable and early 996 type throttle with the fast idle button. Or use the fast idle cable with a choke type push/pull button
personally i wouldn't bother with a high idle lever.....you could lift the idle speed up a little on the throttle bodies so it didn't stall when cold if you really need it...( i know the flywheel is very light) and just have a slightly higher idle when warm...
