There is one of those grommets under the "nose" fairing at the front of the bike also. If you had the fairings off that grommet can be tough to align and if you push the nose fairing up sometimes it will push it out of it's bracket and it falls on the ground. How do i know, umm, nothing, juts a guess ;-) DD
That's the exact one it was, easy fix just remove the two allen heads either side on the lower fairing, pop it back on it's post and bob's ya uncle!
Talking of tax discs. Anyone recommend where to put one? I superglued mine on the front fairing but it fell off when it got wet. Would a different type of glue help?
Bob get under the bike just above and forward of the radiator in the centre, you will feel a post, the rubber pad sits on that.
