  1. I had the grips replaced today, on my 2011 Multistrada 1200s Touring.
As well as having the key re- programmed (both warranty issues).
When I got back on my journey home in the horrendous wind, I noticed quite a lot of handlebar flex front to back.
I know some bikes have this to reduce vibration but haven't noticed it on my bike before now.

Can anyone confirm that it should be like this please, before I take the handlebar clamp and risers apart to check the bolts are all tight.

    Many thanks, Adz .

  2. Have not noticed much in the way of flex on 2013 multi. Good idea to inspect things me thinks.

  3. Thanks for the reply.
I decided not to wait and went down in the garage to check.
Everything is tight and the whole clamp and bars move back and forth with some pressure.
I think there's some sort of anti vibration sleeves fitted in the risers.
Maybe it was on the early 2010-2012 models or perhaps aftermarket (I'm the 2nd owner and this is my 1st Ducati)
    Any advice is greatly appreciated

  4. Think you've done what's needed. If everything is tight . Most bikes of this type have rubbed bushes for anti vibration. Small movement ok.
