  4. Russian money propping up salmon? Haven't you said that's a bad thing when the Russians give money to others in the U.K. with political connections? Asking for clarity you understand :D

  5. yip,yer on shaky ground mentioning Russian money interfering in uk democracy noobster
but as you know, he finances and makes the show, RT chose to purchase and air it. cant think of a single reason why the uk ok media wouldn't buy it when you consider the level of pish they like to bombard us with.
    can you?

  6. Being abroad, with inclusive data, easy access, currency I can use anywhere, I can totally understand why those that travel a lot are up in arms.

But with global warming going the way Duke says it is, I won’t ned to travel to Spain for mild winters any more :upyeah:

  7. Those who tend to travel a lot tend to do so for company business and their business swallows the cost. A lot also use multiple free wifi spots around the world and zero cost then through things such as whats app.

Listening to Dukes predictions and on what he has said so far, he says we are going to burn, and so I've bought a new winter quilt

Fin,the Irish issue (ignoring the opportunism of your own party :D)

The eu says it will not put in place a hard border of old, the Republic says it will not put in a hard border of old, the U.K. government has said it will not put in a hard border of old so what is verhofstadt going on about here?

it's also worth mentioning that there is a technical border there already as you know with customs, vat, taxes etc. A good example is the Guinness runs. The U.K. also has always, like the republic, aligned with the exact same travel expectations, Both are not in Schengen

  8. whats all the fuss then?
anyhoo, thats not what i heard Guy say.

the MP for the 17th century isnt in government or in any position to speak for the remaining 27 members. tho he does represent those that want to remove themselves from the EU tax avoidance legislation coming through.
how does the boarder issue affect WTO? how would it look if the uk gets the same advantages of being in?.
    .
Fin,the Irish issue (ignoring the opportunism of your own party :D) usual noob pish,
i guess you have just got used to the opposition not being in a position to oppose and take the opportunities to represent those they represent. would that be a dereliction of duty? imagine that, 62% of a country having the audacity to expect their elected representatives do their job.
    silly noob.

  11. What some of the people want, not all the people.

To be honest when have politicians ever listened to the public except at election time?

I still expect a constitutional crisis in the UK in the near future if no agreement is reached.

  12. I'm not surprised fin but you couldn't have missed where he at 2.50 onwards where guy says the eu will have to enforce a hard border

Given you and your parties proclivity to going back 300 years, you can see why Mogg would look like a modernist in comparison :D. He isn't in government but this was a select committee which is the reason Guy was there. Guy was representing the 27 and the select committee was representing the U.K.

Have you any proof of that? I ask given he has worked within the U.K. and e.u. rules since being involved in finance, a life time of playing within the eu rules does not suddenly make him a pretend vilian that has no basis other than cheap shots based on nothing at all

At first this puzzled me then I remembered, snp, predictable, so I realised you are talking about one nations vote in a country of 4 nations when all 4 nations entered into willingly, and using the democratic process as it has been for hundreds of years.

You sticking your fingers in your ears then saying no one is listening to you, is the continual oxymoron of the snp. Not saying the U.K. or continually referring to the U.K. as a third person isn't kidding anyone that Scotland is in the U.K., the snp does not represent all scots and as a country we all voted and had the result we had.

I will ask this fin as you mentioned, you like throwing around percentages because they hide the real figures so lets have a dabble there

In 2014 the Scots, as per the joint agreement at the creation of the devolved Scottish parliament, had a vote on Scottish independence. 55.3% said no and 44.7% said yes, a clear democratic vote by all those invited to vote and did. You and your party refuse to accept democracy or the voices of the Scottish people by refusing to respect that vote

2016, the entire U.K. who qualified and actually took part (just the same as all democratic votes in the U.K. and the nations within it) gave a country vote of 52% to leave the eu and 48% to remain meaning the U.K. democratic vote to leave. You and your party refuse to accept democracy or the voices of the U.K.'s people by refusing to respect that vote

So if you could please fin, tell me why you and your party who also actively took part yourselves, refuse to accept two democratically accepted and run votes which gave a democratic direction...but then want the entire U.K. to accept an election that was never run (scotland only vote on the eu) ? could you explain that? cheers

  13. let me answer the last first. mostly because that way i can ignore the rest (you have to much time on your hands brw). in fact, maybe i could answer the question by posing another.
is it fair to say the winner in a referendum should respect and deliver on the promises made during the referendum?

  14. I do have too much time but I am slowly adapting to using it better which is why I post far less now

I will answer yours fin after you have answered what I put to you previously

So if you could please fin, tell me why you and your party who also actively took part yourselves, refuse to accept two democratically accepted and run votes which gave a democratic direction...but then want the entire U.K. to accept an election that was never run (scotland only vote on the eu) ? could you explain that? cheers

  16. On a serious note, what a joke this government is.
Time to step down and get someone that can do a good deal with the EU and the others out there.
Half or the world is laughing at us due to her incompetence....
"But even so, the politics put such a straitjacket on proceedings that she can't even quite manage to be completely clear about that.
So, we heard about a proposal that's not a proposal but an "idea that's emerged". An extension to an extension that's not a request for a longer transition period but a desire perhaps to have the option.
It might sound like Kafka. But it's the words of a government struggling to keep a set of almost impossible promises."

    Above sums it up.
