848 Any Good

  1. Not had a belt service in 4 years and been doing track days around UK and Spanish tracks. I also don’t recall there being an official 848 Casey Stoner Phillip Island rep. Got to ask yourself what the spare wheels are worth over a standad 848 and there is no standard body work. IMO, expensive. Andy

  2. All that is fair enough, but the main no-no is.................BUNGS!

  3. Looks ok to me if you want a bike for road and Trackdays.
As long as the belts haven’t snapped it doesn’t matter that they haven’t been changed.
Just get them changed and no harm will have been done.

  4. Personally I'd rather buy a road one and put the spare £ on track kit

  6. The one you turned from that was around 4K was better IMHO

  7. Agree that so long as the belts haven't snapped they can be changed... It's the what else hasn't been done or has the owner scrimped on that would worry me! If traceable via M.O.T/recorded mileage due to the bike being SORN'd or in to storage, fair enough. If still being used though, that paint's a different picture to me....

Not having the percieved major bits done always set my alarm bells ringing (rightly or wrongly) just my opinion for what its worth...
