    *Edit. Maybe that's why they all sat in the front. I bet The Mystery Machine would have been a demon at the Nurburgring. :)

  11. It was a time trial over set distance on roads if I remember. Had to achieve a predetermined avareage speed.

  12. Looks to me like a quad cam Mustang engine with 2 turbos put on the side so 700 hp is easy to get ....

  14. It's the same van and (I think) the same engine, he was going to move it from the front to the back. I sound like I've got insider information, I actually just finished his new book. It's all in there.

  16. It's the same one he drove into a car transporter in Grimsby... :D

    Quite a cool looking van in its day. Used to tickle me that he was so "shy" yet had massive skull and spanners on the side.
