yes, you are right, as long as you can trust the source that supplies the paint that it's exactly as per manufacturer as red can vary so much. Some people like a red moving towards orange but be aware. I had to send a nose fairing back to Italy just two weeks ago because they couldn't tell their red from the correct red.
Have you discounted getting it wrapped rather than painted? You can always put it back to how it left the factory at a later date....
Wrapping is almost the same price so i have choosen to let it paint My bike is completly not standard so different paint doesn’t matter haha
