Took a MacBook with a dodgy charger cable onto the Mac store. It took me an hour out of my day, cost me £2.50 to park. A new charger costs £80, that’s a lot so I wanted to be sure it was a charger problem & I wasn’t spending £80 for nothing. Still with me?
“I can get you in with a technician in an hour Sir”
I politely explained that I couldn’t wait in a shopping centre on a work day for an hour just to see if my charger was broken & asked if I could simply try plugging one of their demo cables into my MacBook. If it works, I’ll hand over £80 & everyone’s a winner (sort of I s’pose although I’m nearly a ton down overall)
“I’m sorry Sir, we can’t do that as I’m not trained to operate your MacBook”
But I don’t need you to operate anything, I just need you to allow me to plug that cable there into it. You don’t need to touch anything?
“I’m sorry Sir, if anything goes wrong, we’d be liable”
So you’re telling me that I either have to wait an hour for your technician to plug that lead in or walk away? I tried to reason with the...gentleman...but guess what I had to do? Sometimes I actually hate the world

Dude, I feel your pain. I went into the barber and there was 3 people in front me, say 15mins a cut, sorting me out another 15mins, that's an hour. You know, I waited, I got my hair cut and I was happy.

Cyclists , who believe that with the early dark nights now here that they can adorn themselves ,and their cycling contraption with the brightest and most dazzling lights known to human kind. They ride wherever the f*ck they want , flaunt every road safety rule , and have both an aggressive / passive aggressive attitude.
I’m sick of the f*ckers.

How can they be allowed to ride with these 4 billion watt lights unregulated ? If the idiots need to be on the road then they need to start playing ball

 

I've read one dose can be painful, but to have four ... Get yourself down to the clinic asap.
