Me and SWMBO woke up and had a conversation at around 3am about whether you could still get Dimple whiskey.
We've a multi-car policy with Admiral Insurance (used to be Elephant?). Golf R32, 2002 Golf Tdi and an old E240 Merc Estate... total value £10K MAX, (under 5k miles a year between them), West London based, 51 and 43yr old, one accident and one Sp30 between us with 27 years of NCB being used on these vehicles. Parked on drive, no modifications apart from Tracker and alarms. Renewal came in at £1400++.... called and complained, asking for the best deal..... no changes in cover.... a bit of haggling and renewal was magically adjusted to under £1000..... Don't just autorenew, they will have your pants down.
Today I’ve been quite busy for a change. Watched 2 episodes of GoT, went out on my mountain bike for an hour or so, then SWMBO and I went out for a mooch around Slaithwaite (pronounced Slawit), found a couple of new touristy shops to mooch round and had a couple miles walk up/down the canal, and finished off with a latte and cherry and almond cake in a nice cafe Now home and waiting for a pal of mine from Warrington way to turn up as he wants to borrow my kreiga tail packs to ride to Valencia with in a couple of weeks.
