My youngest son 40yrs of age reckons i am the tightest ass bastard walking the planet, what say you? We moved from our flat back in Jan this year into a 3 bed semi only 200 yds away. I sold the flat to a neighbour he has settled in nicely now, so i had a walk over today knowing he converted the bathroom into a state of the art shower room. I asked him when in the process of doing the conversion did he keep the old Terry's spring loaded toilet roll holder and guess what he had and guess what it's now fitted in my dunny. Result.
New bike shed - the joiners started yesterday, came to finish this morning, then ran out of cladding. Back on tuesday now to finish it
It will look nice finished, especially with a good couple of coats of dirty engine oil and diesel mixed, last fer years.
Been out on the Scrambler around Yorkshire and Lancashire to blow off the cobwebs. Did a lovely, brisk 90 plus miles
Just been treated to my first proper meal in 15 days. Roast pork, potatoes, parsnips, carrots, Brussels sprouts, asparagus and Yorkshire pudding. Had a baby's portion but enjoyed every mouthful. I would have much preferred not to have eaten a dodgy yum yum 2 weeks ago and not ended up with the opposite problem after surgery but silver lining and all that, I've lost 11kg in weight. Andy
Big day... up at 2 am to watch gp.. then 2 hours kip before setting off to meet @Carbon749 j15a m1, coffee and get 749 bits. Really cool chap. T Then jacks Hill cafe to catch up with me bud @Not Carl Fogarty for a cuppa. Then other side of Birmingham to pick up more 749 bits offa @Nostromo who also seems like a cool chap. Unfortunately I couldn't take him up on the offer of a cuppa as I had to get home before dark.. turns out lately I can't drive at night without me eyes going funny... Thanks for the bits also dude... Got in half an hour back and am now having KFC and red wine...
Been to Somerset, Bridgwater Carnaval for the first time and i must say they put 100% + into there floats, Great show. We did intend too go Thursday night and get there around 10,30 in the my van but on way home from work my clutch slave went so AA towed me home, so we then took the car on Friday morning but when we got on the M5 a stone hit the windscreen and there is now a 12 inch crack

Half term means nothing to me. The office is two miles away so traffic (or lack of it) isn't ever an issue.
