On the contrary. Anything that generally wastes my time and prevents me from achieving anything at all in life of any import is something that I seem drawn towards.... I advise everyone to also sign up to the Dainese D-Club Challenge - that's always a fun thing to do (and you might even win something). I was joint 122nd last year. Beat that!
You sign up for it on the Dainese website (D-Club section). Then you have to predict the 5 top finishers, in order for every race in Moto GP. So you normally wait until practice and qualifying is over to see who is likely to win, etc. You get points for each finisher you get right, in his right place. You get more points for getting 5th place right, than 3rd or 1st. The max is 26 points per race (if you get all the finishers in the right order). If you get over 22 or 23 points, Dainese gives you a voucher to spend on line with them. What typically happens is that you have all 5 finishers in place up until the last lap, when the leader gets nerfed off into the gravel on the final corner. Then 2nd becomes 1st, 3rd becomes 2nd etc and instead of getting max points, you get none. This has happened to me a few times. Still, makes Moto GP a lot more interesting.
