  10. No - it's fucking constant and it's now reaching a point where i can't reading any fucking thread without someone taking the piss. I really don't fucking need it to be honest.

I come on the forum for light relief - not for this bull shit.

  15. @PeterT just saw your bike at P&H when I came to get my bits ordered.

If you’d passed the spares desk you would have seen me bent over the counter being right royally shafted to the tune of £412.03....not a pretty sight!

  18. Hello all, brand new sign-up here, Austin TX USA. 2007 1098. I find myself in the exact predicament of the original poster.

I've got the flywheel on the bench, attempting to replace starter sprag clutch and gear. I'm having NO luck getting the sprag boss/flange out of the flywheel! Super tight! Can't quite figure out what the Ducati service manual means when they say to screw the T25 screws in from the other side to remove flange. It's not going to work unless I rotate the flange slightly (via hitting with drift/hammer in non-threaded hole) to create interference for the screw. Can anybody offer any tips for sprag flange removal, in more depth? I could use a vice to hold the flywheel but I don't want to mar or damage it. thank you in advance!

  19. I used one of those hub pullers to weasel mine off. But i had to dremel in a couple off slots for it to get a purchase on it. As i replaced it, it didnt matter.

  20. Thanks for the reply--trying to envision how you could get a hub puller to grip the flange! Seems there's no place for purchase! I have an idea--going to try it today, I'll report back.
