Hey, Admins.....

  1. What's this about...
    upload_2018-11-15_14-30-57.png

It replaces the site (and only this site) after about 10 mins of inactivity by me. It must be a scam thing because (as an MOD contractor) my PC is protected to the hilt.

    Any ideas, please?

  4. Is it only on the ducati forum page or any browsing?

  5. Only on the Ducati site.

  6. I would suggest you log out, clear your cookies, reboot your PC and log back in and see what happens then.

  7. Already done. Still there.

  8. No idea then.

    Any clues @Rob ??

  9. Malware. Google part of the phrase used in the pop up. There are instructions on how to remove.

  10. Can you open a cmd prompt admin mode and run
    ipconfig /flushdns
    And then hit enter?

  16. Hmm. Slightly different this time. Malwarebytes says no problem.

  17. Is anyone else experience this?

  18. This does not look like a legitimate error message. It's possible that you have malware that hasn't yet been addressed by malwarebytes. Do you have the free version or a paid for one?

You could try searching for an online virus checker - Norton does one.

If the error message is legit, which I doubt, it might be worth running up a cmd prompt in Admin mode and entering

    Sfc /scannow

which will check the integrity of your system files. I give this a small chance of success.

Have you searched for this error on line? I see that Malwaretips.com refers to a similar issue.

What browser are you using? Have you tried removing extensions or add-ons an restarting the browser?

  19. No. I would try getting on to this site using a different device - like your phone. This will help identify if it is an issue with the pc/device/what ever is giving this shit.

  20. "If you got it while visiting one web site, it is possible that the ads on that page got refreshed/changed by the ad service being used by the website owner."

Just thought you should know. I'll try the above suggestions - thanks.
I'd already run /scannow and it showed no problems.
