Having had experience of how the local council manage the circuit when it’s wet, I feel sorry for anyone trying to get to the circuit by car (and to a lesser extent, bike). The last time we went, they closed the car park several hours before qualifying leaving hundreds and cars stuck in a traffic jam for 5 hours. The Comunitat de Valencia couldn’t organise the proverbial piss up in a brewery, bloody amateurs. Andy

Consequence of crashing isn’t enough. We cant make them get hurt (well, probably not until 2060 when the elite are harvesting the poor even more) but they could have ‘an allowance’ and once used up either grid or points penalties.

 

Good start to qualifying for M M dislocated shoulder on first lap, will he get on the spare bike and finnish on pole?

 

Did he?

 

He got back on the spare bike after his shoulder was put back and qualified fifth, still not bad considering.
