?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. aww bollox, new computer, no spell check.
tbh, the only ones i have met have been through hiredrive and the two lads here that have lived and worked there for several years i just asked them what the genneral feeling is over there re their neigbours and immigration. they lived in edmonton, lots of imigration there, mostly fillipinos and quite a few afgans. no issues he says, the banter could appier quite bruttle to an outsider, you wouldnt get away with it here, but there aint that genneral undermining of trust you see promoted over here. i say here, but really it comes mostly in the messages promoted by your mouthpieces downthere.
americans?, daft but meh, thats it, just meh.

  3. You'll be fine. Computers are a lot easier than politics.

  11. Perhaps I'm missing something on her speech as she tries to move it away from the facts.

How do we stop free movement of people from the eu to the U.K. whilst at the same time, agree a visa free travel system for eu people to the U.K.?

  12. Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely!

However, an extract from his 2016 statement to the press, I think, hits the nail on the head.

‘But like other major companies, Renault-Nissan is now waiting to find out exactly what ‘Brexit’ means and what kind of trading relationship the UK will have with the rest of Europe when negotiations are complete.

Mr Ghosn told the BBC: "I don't think today you can talk about any impact before we see what is the new status of the UK.’

Everyone, from the ‘man on the Clapham omnibus’ to the big CEOs just want to know what the new status will be. Then we can all plan accordingly and get back on with our lives. So the quicker that becomes apparent the better for all IMO, regardless of whether you're leave or remain. It's the uncertainty the markets don't like.

  13. I think the subtle difference is between those visiting for a short period and those looking to establish themselves permanently. However, what’s to stop the former entering then just staying? The Immigration service/police will have their work cut out me thinks.

  14. Presumably they will have to apply for a work permit if they want to work here, after all there are many countries we can travel to now without the need for a visa.

  15. Yep, but how many enter with no visa or on a tourist visa and then remain, working in the 'black' economy?

can you say black economy now? I've no idea.

  16. There are plenty doing that now isn't there.

  17. Yep, so I can't see that changing. Apart from the peeps on immigration giving everyone coming into the UK the evil stare regardless of how long you intend to stay for I can't see how this will change anything.

  19. Funny how things have gone full circle, back to immigration.
Let in people with qualifications, engineers blah blah

Mmmm. And Doctors, Nurses, farm workers?? Bullshit. Nothing that is not done now.

But...No thoughts of improving education and improving skills of school/uni leavers. Real apprentice places. Which, had we been doing that for the last 20 years, would not have had the resentment to and influx of, foreign workers. Already 2 years wasted while talking Brexit...

Its a self perpetuating problem that the Tory party will not look at. But then why look for solutions that improve the country in the short, medium and long term when you can blame the bogeyman and continue down the same (but re named) path?
