?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. I’m with you.

I can’t imagine the car cleaners contributing anything.
I can’t imagine many of the sweatshop workers contributing anything
I can’t imagine many of the self emoted builders contributing much

I think there must be big assumptions about they ‘cost’ 5k pa and a UK citizen ‘costs’ 100k pa lol

  3. Yes, I see that.
Is that what happens ? I’d be surprised if they don’t come here at a young age, meet someone get married start a family etc etc and stay here.
    I may well be wrong

  4. That is women's clothes shopping economics. Sweetheart I saved 25% on all these clothes, you did? what about the 75% you spent?

That link shows an 84,000 drop in eu migration to the U.K which you think is more important than there was still 248,000 last year that came over.

  5. Thatch is used as some sort of idealised hero by the Right, which shows me that there are ignorant/blinded individuals on both sides of the political divide.

In reality, her vision was incomplete and did incalculable harm to this country, alongside whatever benefits she arguably introduced to UK politics and the social structure.

This is an unpopular opinion to binary thinkers, who see political figures in terms of All Good or All Bad, depending on their particular persuasion.

  7. I don’t think selling off council houses helped the housing situation

  8. yip, thats what happens up here, our schools are sustained by the kids of well educated and motivated EU nationals. there aint a single negative to be had from it. all good.

  9. I never agreed with the council house sales but the people living in them still have to live somewhere whether they pay a mortgage or rent, the council should have been allowed to re-invest the money from sales back into new housing.

  13. Back in the early days of council house sales I remember some councils were pleased to get rid of the houses as the rents didn't cover the maintenance costs and they were losing money.

  17. No link or origin of that "open letter" fin?

  18. TM didn't refer to them as 'Scroungers'....so why are you? You sexing it up again Fing? TM pointed out that immigration would be on the basis of merit. How TF do these 'Outraged' individuals manage at job interviews, when the job's offered to the best candidate.....and not just to the first through the door (which btw they expect to be constantly held open)??

  19. That's because nobody can decide what is the right and wrong sort of immigration. For example an ex-WW2 German soldier didn't go home and has lived in a council house and worked paying taxes etc since the end of the war until retirement age.

Right or wrong? Well, right, I guess - until he is found out to be an SS concentration camp guard, just before he pops his clogs.

Or a Somali that got in illegally but back home he was cutting off kids arms and legs - Wrong, shouldn't be here; but the Govt will still give him benefits and a house, because they can't actually find him to deport him.

  20. no she didnt say scrounging, tho she has helped to create the atmosphere where we do the dirty work for them.
how do they cope at interviews? probably better educated and more restrained when it comes to their mouths running away from em. or, in an economy that grew at the rate it did during the ninety's, the employers just didn't gaf. they needed staff.
