My lad has just left with a msc distinction in neuroimaging to go with his high 2:1 in neuroscience and can’t even get an interview.
He’s applying for research work, but they want either lots and lots of experience or phd for entry level work. He’s applying for temp stuff, couple of interviews but no luck. But we’re keen he progresses the career he wants not one he has to take: that’s why he has a 40k debt..
The second ex wife was in a similar field but went into the military to advance and gain skills in her field. Did several years and despite at the end of her service and offers to go private, she joined the V.A.
Northern Ireland will either get compensation from the Republic of Ireland, GB, or indirectly from the EU via the Republic of Ireland. Either way, Northern Ireland is in a win win situation. Northern Ireland would financially break the Republic of Ireland without help from the EU. There will be a minority in Northern Ireland if or when Republic of Ireland join Northern Ireland, cash will flow. We love a good fight,
Marvellous theatre, with Spain pretending to use Gibraltar as a bargaining point and the MSM pretending that this is a story to rival that of "the Brexit Deal" aka May's drive to ram her Remain agenda. Diversion, distraction. They aren't even trying to hide their fakery now. Transcendent arrogance on the part of the political elite. NB when I refer to "May", I mean of course the people operating the controls of the Maybot. "May" is quicker to type.
Confused here. If "May's Deal" respects the borders issue which May insists is what Brexiteers voted for, essentially ignoring all other Leaver concerns ... ... And the UK opts to go with the UN Migrant Compact ... What exactly is this "Deal" delivering on, in terms of Brexit?
I think they will knowing it won't get through parliament. It then maintains the image that the eu is united but the U.K. isn't. I still feel they had two options on their side, grind us down and divide us till we gave up or, run it till the very last minute to give almost zero time to implement no deal as their drive all along was to show others just what they will get if anyone dares to leave
Hammond was reported as saying that anything that looks like a win for half the country will divide it. Phil just doesn't realise that this is called majority democracy...every 5 bloody years half the country is unhappy with the party chosen to govern ffs.
@ noobie The Brexit vote was a result of an already divided (not united) UK government. The EU did not need to apply any pressure for the cracks to show. Apart from the fact that half the people would be happy(ish) and half would not be..the debate about how a Brexit would be applied should have taken place before a vote, not after. I'm not talking about keeping Leave/Remain happy. Just a proper plan ffs not cartoon sketches.
I offer a compromise that will unite the nation. We leave the EU entirely, as voted for by the majority, but our new UK passports will be red. Everybody happy!
What has surprised me JB, is how many of the self proclaimed higher educated calling for another vote, refuse to see all democratic votes will be available to be challenged immediately, if we take their wish for another vote so soon, effectively finishing the democratic vote process.
