Walked up to pick up car. Argos to pick up a reservation for a pressie. Then, somehow, coerced to Glos quays Victorian market. But Mrs B’s birthday present sorted, plus she did most of her family Xmas shop and squeezed on site parking so didn’t have to pay so not as bad as I expected
I had a 998. Too be totally honest I’ve never liked 4 cylinder bikes but I’d only ever ridden Japanese. This bike is awesome, it handles well really well! Brakes are shit hot! It sounds amazing. The Sheila’s love it and I love it. Not many of these 312’s left either so she’s a keeper. It goes like fuck too but I still haven’t managed the alleged top speed of 196 mph and that’s not through lack of trying. My favourite colour scheme also. I’m sure they will become collectible one day.
Back on the mountain bike (22Km) and finished sorting my photos from Vietnam https://flic.kr/s/aHskMH2o1C Neil
Did I see somewhere you selling elaters and you’re only 5’3? How tf do you touch the ground on these things?! I’m 5’7 and barely manage
What did you do with the leaves? I did half the drive and back garden and the green bin is full. Then it rained. I hate gardens, a waste of good garage space.
That’s wasn’t me selling them but I did see that post. I’m 5ft 10 and manage quite well on her. That’s the problem with 4 cylinders I spose is that the bikes are wider than a twin. I do love it though. It spent last winter in the house lol
We used to have three or four compost heaps set up for the plants in the glasshouses but everything's f##ked now,so i just dumped them in the wooded areas or other available free space
Great to see it's in a safe pair of hands,as for collectible the prices must be going up by nowanyway keep ragging her and your get there in the End
You have one don’t you? So many people slag them Off but they are really quite well made compared to modern bikes and they have an exotic feel about them (and I don’t mean exotic as in some bird shooting ping pong balls out of her twat) Lol
