Will the 13 plate put you off buying in the next 6months? I will not be changing my bike but will be getting a new car which is not due until late July so I am waiting till September 1st, not sure if its because of superstition or value at a later date. What do you all think?
Some people won't use checkout 13 They don't have 13 in new builds Personally I like 13 so anything with it in I'm happy
that Subaru pick up I owned that got nicked its reg was 666 it had more punctures than any other vehicle I owned but it was a heap of shite and the key had snapped off in the ingnition so I could never lock the doors or take the key out of the ignition - which was why it got nicked probably got punctures as it had remoulds on never liked it anyway
It's bad luck to be superstitious......... ....and I deliberately bought my car number plate with '13' in it........£50. AL
I'd heard that the DVLA were letting people use 62 plates if they were that troubled by it..... But I'm not sure I beleive the rumour! I'll be happy with a 13 plate thanks!
I cannot wait to get my 13 plate roll on next Friday ! However I am not walking under any ladders to get there
We said at the beginning of the year that 2013 was gong to be a lucky year for us. We are only 2 months into the year and so far..... We've had a burst pipe in the floor causing loads of damage. A rat has also chewed through our central heating pipes, result no hot water or central heating. The rat also took up residence in my Porsche and chewed all the wiring. And finally last weekend some thieving tw*t nicked the number plates off my other car and used them to steal fuel from our local petrol station! Who says 13 is an unlucky number!?
There are some MTS owners who prefer the look of their tyres, rather than the actual performance of them. Go figure.
Not bothered, my next co car is due in June, it will be abused and thrashed just as much as the current one.
