  4. I bumped into a guy riding the most tatty 900 monster I have ever seen.
The amazing part was the bike had covered 98,000 miles from new, all original.
His concern was when it finally gives up the ghost does he rebuild or replace?
I had one of the original 900's I really didn't expect to see such a high mileage example.
I'm sure its no world record, interesting though.

  5. I’d suggest peer pressure :) Andy

  6. I don't understand why either, but, maybe a bit of tinsel and some baubles might do the trick or some cotton wool below the headlight and tell her it's Santa

  9. How do you like the Arrow sound wise?

  10. Was a little muted with the baffle in so I modified it (bigger holes) and then just took it out... much better!

  11. There’s a guy in the US with an early 900 with over 250k miles, apparently he complained about only getting 40,000 miles out of the front tyre...

  13. Been a bad week, so when I saw the sun out this morning, and having a couple of hours to spare, I took the old girl out for a ride down to the Hayling Island side of the entrance to Langstone Harbour for a mug of Tea.

    Enjoy.

Went drag racing today. Made 14 runs and my bro did 4 and this was my best time. Nothing special I know but was very fun...until the timekeeper lady pointed out the oil squirting out the oil breather hose onto the exhaust. Sigh...back into the workshop...
