  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  6. The UK has more tax havens for the rich than any other Country in the world. That’s why so many of them want Brexit as the EU plans to stop the use of tax havens.

  8. He calls the Govrnment corrupt, then uses Government figures that suit his position. :) Denigrates the multinationals and bankers, then says Brexit is going to cause multinationals and bankers to leave. :grinning: Mad as a box of frogs, he is. :p

But @noobie , don't scare him away, he brightens up my morning cuppa. :yum

  9. Cool, where can I avoid tax in the UK Dukey? I've never heard of these "UK tax havens". :bucktooth:

  10. Not quite right and based on a number of different measures:
The irony is that the EU has a good few (at the top!) and that Juncker as Finance head and the PM of Luxembourg, set the country up as a tax free haven. What a complete :poop: he is!

  12. No longer works. You get taxed on that too now. And if you only do all your work for a medium or large company, you won’t be able to do that either in 2020.

  14. See that might work for diane abicus but add these up

Figures show net migration - the difference between how many people came to the UK for at least 12 months and how many left - was 273,000 last year.

EU net migration was 74,000 in the year to the end of June 2018, while non-EU net migration was 248,000.

wouldn't that make it 322,000? and not the 273,000 claimed?

    as to this bit
The Office for National Statistics says 219,000 EU citizens arrived in the UK, as 145,000 left, making net EU migration the lowest it had been since 2012.

It's no good saying we have less coming over if we still have 74,000 still coming over last year. It's almost as though they word it to make it sound 74,000 is chump change.

  15. So where are these UK tax havens then?

Making it up again I see.

  16. Lies, damn lies and statistics.

Be better off keeping free movement within the EU. TBH the ones that come here speak English, usually fluently.

EU net migration was 74,000 in the year to the end of June 2018, while non-EU net migration was 248,000.

Shows that all the EU immigration nonsense, was just that. Used as a scare tactic while only telling a fraction of the truth.

248,000. Non EU. Non Polish lol.

  17. I never believed in Mays immigration targets. Surely when we become a free of the eu nation, targets will be a thing of the past. they should be used as a reference but not as a restriction.

As we move more into a technology reducing people workforce, our workforce need will drop. In someways we are a little bit head of the game as with most western economies in our child birth rate is dropping, this is where being independent of the eu works in our favour, we can pick and chose year by year/bi annually what our needs are on immigration.

It should also help with technology and improving it, particularly on farming where the short term approach has been cheap labour year by year, rather than innovative equipment and scientific approach.

  18. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...umber-babies-born-lowest-decade-a8066101.html

Link there is just food for thought.

Politics, planning (family planning!), economy, migration...

The thinking in the west is a younger workforce and expanding population, pays for the up keep of the old, pensions etc.
To me, its a failure of the system. UK birth rates are not down because of health, or less swimmers! It is because youngsters cant get secure jobs with decent pay. How the hell can they afford kids without full time employment. Not gig economy.. Cant get on the housing ladder etc.
Time for a rethink in politics.

  19. Or could it be in the generation of the snowflake, the last thing they want is to be a parent of the next generation of snowflakes :D

They are a generation of mememe and as most of us know, kids will remove most of your individuality from birth till they get older . This generation would rather create an instagram account than a child, instagram is easier to manage :D
