What is wrong with people? Some girl found my debit card at the shop literally 30 seconds after I dropped it today. She tried keeping it but I kept tapping her on the shoulder to tell her to give it back. but this idiot then denied having it! This is where it gets interesting. A bigger idiot kept tapping the .... Picked up new glasses yesterday - freaking me out being able to see properly again, should have changed them about a year ago I think.
I can relate to that experience. in my 20s I was in big denial but threw the towel in after a whole load of pictures I took of a car I was selling came back out of focus (manual focus back then)
Just took a phone call off a lady who needs a removal next week in Wakefield, sounded a real nice sort even threw into the conversation the fact it needs doing by the 10th as her chemotherapy starts, she has incurable cancer 12 to 18 months to live, had a stroke couple of weeks back due to some chemotherapy, that little chat caught me off guard, Hopefully can help her next week, bloody cruel world. Update, I am doing the lady’s removal 8th December.
Sat in the Tramshed in Cardiff with a beer waiting to see Livewire, an AC/DC tribute band. Gonna be a good evening, especially as we came in from Carole's mum's in Penarth on the bus. I suspect this beer won't be the last Andy
Nice afternoon so went a ride to Jack Hills Cafe on the mulMultistr roads were dry and traffic light so good afternoon
Just got back from the Tramshed after what can only be described as an ffffing fantastic night. Livewire were absolutely brilliant and played a 2 hour 20 minute set without a rest. All the favourites from the early days with Bon Scott to the newer stuff with Brian Johnson. My ears are rining, I've lost my voice and I'm a little bit inebriated but I'm going to bed happy. Andy
Confirmed with the Ducati dealer that the ECU is stuffed and has to be replaced. About $ 2,400. Ouch... Upside is they have one in stock and I can have my toy back on Monday.
SWMBO has arranged a family party/dinner for my birthday today (my birthday isn’t till Tuesday though) so all the kids will be here around lunchtime. SWMBO has arranged for a treasure hunt for the grandchildren and games/quizzes for the adults this evening. Everyone is staying overnight too. I’ll be knackered by 3pm. Fact.
In an unusual move I’m going to see Manchester City playing a soccer ball game this afternoon. Which will be nice.
Thanks for asking. All gone and done, no more solicitor, estate agent or buyer stress to deal with. It’s weird but I kind of miss all that buzz! The fun now begins with colour pots and a redecorating program, because as you know ‘it’ll need doing before Christmas’!
