  1. Bump ....

    ... so ....

    .... are we on?

  2. If you fancy a 25-30 km ride each way into town each day I can recommend the camp site at beaumont sur sarthe (A). Good clean facilities and reasonably priced. Good local amenities, quiet too!!

Pretty straightforward blast down from either Cherbourg or across from Roscoff - beaumont sur sarthe camping - Google Maps

Probably a little too far if being honest but worth consideration if you're not into mad all nighters!!

  3. Never been. Stick me down, I'm up for a few jaunts abroad this year now my racing is over.

  4. You've never raced at Le Mans? Call yourself a racer? Pah!

  5. Not too far actually, but how do you carry camping gear on a Mono?

  6. ex racer now ;-)

raced at Assen if that helps

  7. Bump, anyone still fancy this? I reckon we should look at getting crossings booked up soon?

  8. I would love to join you but I will be on my way back from Hols after ticking something else of my bucket list.
For a few years the wife and I would spend a week in a little place called Brionne in June same weekend usualy as the Le Mans 24 hour (cars). It was a stopping off point for a lot of people on the way to the race. Loved sitting at a bar in the square watching all the different cars come and go. Stayed in aHotel owned by a couple of Scots but they've sold it and its a nursing home now. Lovely area with cracking roads

  9. I am going as am planning to do the classic race Saturday morning.

  10. If you guys do end up going then message me as im already confirmed with another group of mates for this. There is at least 4 Ducs in the group!

  11. Strangely enough was invited to this by 2 friends who go every year only this last weekend.....

Not sure whether I am going yet though....
