Try a few KTM dealers, someone may have some in stock

 

I recently fitted this kit after a cylinder started leaking. Good quality and did the job. Bit of a fag bleeding the system!!

 

Really - how did you go about it?
The 999 should be the easiest to bleed there is??

Old Rider, I probably should have reversed filled the system after re-fitting callipers, however, the large syringe I bought from Ebay was a let down. So I just bled the system the traditional way it took a lot of time to clear the air. This was using a vacuum pump as well and various techniques. Got there in the end though!

 

Did you use the bleed valve inside the master cylinder reservoir??

 

Probably should have but read on here somewhere someone snapping it off when trying - which made me a tad nervous. I would defo consider going that way next time to save on fluid and time! What's the best tool to undo the reservoir bleed value?

 

I use a tiny socket (can't remember the size, sorry) for this, which is kept scrupulously clean for this task. : o )

 

Good to know that thanks - I have just the thing and will be brave next time as I have no intention of spending hours upon hours on the job. Enjoy doing the seals - reassuring one done if you are suffering a leak.

 

Another plug for the powerhouse parts. I did all 3 calipers on my 900ss with their kits and no issues.

6 or 7 mm ring spanner , but use a quality brand for a good fit on the hexagonal head.

 

An angle ring spanner, if possible, for easier access.
