?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. After Brexit I'm moving into the EU council building - top floor Penthouse should settle part of the investment

  2. I will be a EU person, like one of those unelected ones, the Junker type and I will hand you the key and then we drink lots and declare the FU as the rulers at the council meeting, then drink more and be merry. Then we will buy coal and oil and gas from Russia and tell everyone they are bad and we will have a great army, it will be called the FUM. And we will invade the IOM and race at the TT then drink and be merry. TBC

  4. Ish...the ROI knows they are more dependent for trade with the U.K., they are more dependent on money to the eu. being they are staying within the eu, Understandably they have nailed their flag to the eu mast.

A number of us and many outside, knew the eu would use the Irish situation to either (a) stop brexit or (b) keep control of the U.K.

Despite claiming the GFA is the de facto agreement to be abided by, the eu has said all along, the eu is the de facto standard.

It still comes back to one thing though. The U.K. has said it will never go back to a hard border, the ROI has said it will never go back to a hard border but, the only group insisting a hard border will be needed...never signed up to the good friday agreement...the eu

  5. I'm totally fucking bored with this now. What did the news channels talk about prior to 2016? I genuinely can't remember anymore. If we enter this backstop and continue protracted negotiations with all the calls to reverse the result for say another 5 years or so, there will have been little else in the news for close to a decade. The time taken up by 2 World Wars. The lead story on the news the other day wasn't about Brexit and I was genuinely taken aback.

Let's just get this done and leave ffs.

  7. All an improvement Bradders tbh.

Now I realise that 24hr news is to blame, but fookin hell I'm bored with the lot of it. Any damage done to this country by leaving the EU (unlikely) if it happens will be because of the negativity of the whole bloody thing, not WTO trade, drop in immigration etc, etc............

  8. Thanks dude, that's my understanding. It should not be an issue.

  9. Green party

  10. Sorry, they have never been in the news more than 15 minutes pa during the annual convention time...and normally they are outdone by a dog that walks backwards : unamused:

  13. This could buy some time for some re-negotiation before May puts it to a 2nd vote after losing the 1st:
THE EU is prepared to discuss extending Article 50 if Theresa May’s Brexit deal is rejected next week, after her proposal was badly undermined by the Government’s own legal advice.
The Prime Minister will travel to Brussels on December 13, two days after the Parliamentary vote on the Withdrawal Agreement, when EU leaders are ready to discuss postponing Brexit.

  14. How about....Another radical idea (not out of the Labour front bench this time)

    We pay nothing in
    We get nothing back
If we want to trade with EU we have to meet their conditions
If EU countries want to trade with us, they have to meet ours
We only sell to EU this goods that comply with what was agreed.
    And visaversa
We want to be part of a central project, we provide funding
We dont want to be, we dont
If we provide funding, we get a say as a shareholder and use
    If we dont, we dont

  16. When this is voted down, and the fact MP's now have a vote on and 2nd deal, I think Theresa May's qualities of pig headedness could come into play and she should play the ball into the corner and waste time unti March 2019. No more negs and we leave by default.

Not that the witch will.

  17. Here’s a link to the EU’s agreed negotiation guidelines. Published a long time ago. A binding strategy.

    Nowhere does it:

    1. Insist on a hard border (in fact it does the opposite).
    2. Claim anything at all about “Defacto Standards” In fact it makes specific reference the GFA upholding principles of EU Law and is to be preserved.
    3. “Use the Irish situation to stop Brexit keep control of the UK.

Paragraph 11 for those pushed for time. The link to the PDF is on the page also.
