And the fact Checa had a monster highside yesterday, how he's able to ride at 100% today in itself is incredible
Yeah what you saying now doubters! Good start but a long way to go though However they didn't actually show much of the Ducati did they
well done Checa ! motogp would love to be as exciting as this going to be a massive fight for podiums here come on the Brits !! oi Moto gp team this is how you sort out a bike in quick time !!!are you watching in shame ?
and all that with a frame that doesn't work! fook, how they wasted 2 years of development... 2 bl..dy years...:frown:
Looks like bata got it right to save a quali tyre for sp3 as the conditions were perfect  Looking forward to the race.
Nothing wrong with the pani its the riders! No front or rear feeling in a race set up? Moto gp springs to mind. Engineers dream=riders nightmare. Looks like Aprilia have got it right. Dust off the 1198 FFS
it s a bit of a oddball weekend but all in all not bad. Superpole says a lot on the potential of the bike and some racing fortune played with the outcome. not the we ones hopes for but on the other hand pitty reassuring.. why dust of something slower? keep working on the bike is what is needed. apparantly it's topspeed that is an issue due to the 50MM restricors. That can be fixed and so it hsould no longer be a 'frame' issue. so kkep developping it. Thats what they should have done with the GP instead of being led astray into honyam-swampland..
C'mon, until the incident it was doing ok. The 'prilias are stupid fast tho, how come they get away with all their advantages while Ducati get restrictions?! Even blew the kwacker and beemer away in a straight line!
Forgive me for imagining, but aren't they down a few hundred cc? Ducati could've gone for a 4 cylinder road bike, they had one they could base it on, it had the volume wasn't a prototype, it only needed homologation.
Im glad he wasnt running away with it so the other teams cant have a go at the duke and ask for more reductions on the bike. He was in the mix and looked pretty fare. The track is new and wasnt helping alot of riders. Im gutted it wasnt melandri, we cant have a go at him for dangerous riding.
Imagine the screams of heresy if they went V4 from the twin...AND ditched the trellis....cor there are people on here that wold never utter the word Ducati again...
Thing is, surely, most of us on here want to ride a V twin. And quite likely, most would like to ride a V twin in a trellis frame. We also want to think that our bikes are the winningest out there but that is a secondary consideration. So there would be little point in Ducati trying to sell us V4s just because they won on the track. I'd love a Desmo, but not at the expense of not having a twin. Nope. Ducati pretty much have to make the twin a WSBK winner.
umm funny when the Pani came out and as we started buying them saying how great it was, the traditionalists were like "its not a proper ducati, its not gonna work" etc etc but know they are "yeah its a great bike I want one" Iv said it before and il say it again......The 1199 is the future and the 1198 as great as it is(undeniable), is moving into the shadows of greatness along with all the historic classics. One day the the same will happen with the 1199, its the circle of life.
