Last night I went to the Ducati Manchester Xmas party at Manchester central (aka GMex). Fantastic evening with great friends. Got home a little worse for wear at 1.40am Today I have been and had an eye examination and ordered two pairs of readers. Now feeling the effects of last night and I’m struggling to stay awake.

Managed to repair our computer. Not sure how old it is (I think it was top of the range at the time, intel I5) but the heat sink on the processor was so clogged it was just reporting a overheated CPU message and not booting. Took the heat sink and fan off, cleaned them and away it goes It’s still a really good computer so I’m please with myself
Got the 1199 all back together and put her through her trials. All seems well! New crank bearings, oil pump, rod shells, water pump and mesh filter. Check all clearances of desmo system. All good. Liners and pistons in great condition so no need to replace. Should have replaced the clutch while I was in there as she’s got a savage ol bite on her but maybe bleeding will get me a little more travel. All In all a good day. No lights flashing and she’s keen to get that front wheel up In the air.
