So is it about bikes or food! Or food and bikes! Hmm perhapes we should do bikes then food (book a table!) then maybe a browse at a few motors! Who's up for that then?
Sent me email to Jilly...she replied almost immediately. So me name is on the list for the reg details when they're ready....just fingers crossed for dry weather and not too cold.
Hi everyone, A reminder to those who have not yet booked a slot for the ride in and Grand Parade through Horsham for Piazza on 29th March....... The ride from West Chiltington to Hop Oast (where all bikes meet up prior to the parade into Horsham) will be route-marked with flags - so no-one has any excuse for getting lost! All bikers can ride at their own pace/with their own friends. There are loads of places to eat and drink in Horsham - plus a large market. All registered bikes will parade through town prior to parking in the display. Get ready to rev your engines  !! There are TROPHIES for best bikes etc. ! Helmet and clothing storage has been organised in town. Bike-friendly local retailer Helmet City will have a presence on the day. Full details at the start of this thread (page 1). [email protected] So.... get your pride and joy spruced up and come along for the ride!!!
Thank you to those who have already registered ... there's still some spaces for anyone who is still 'thinking' about participating  And instead of pizza, how about calzone?
I sent an email a few days ago with my details for registering.Should I receive a reply from the organisers?
No - not "bio-fuel" !!!!!! Watch it, or I'll find some tender bits of my own to chop into the calzone . Ha-de-ha!!
I went a few years ago. when we had a litte heat wave, really good turn-out. But after a few hours looking around the cars and bikes its pretty boring. Its a very small town centre. Its makes me laugh we pull in the crowds and the shops and stalls get all the business. If you go to Southend On Sea, Italian day. at least you get a free coffee and a bottle of wine. come on you tight surrey lot. give us a free coffee.
Hi skidoff - the event is primarily to raise money for charity, this year the main charity is the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Air ambulance. Most of the shops donate to the event and charity. What would you like to see there? I can ask if the budget allocated will be able to provide something, even if it's a free coffee from sunny Sussex!
I stand corrected, but it still generates good business for the local town. Sussex-Surrey all the bloody same to me.
