Fantastic. Where do you want to go? I hope you’re not planning going over the Picos mountains on a bike to get there.
I don't think it ever proved too popular, not sure why, or maybe one of the TDO's have exclusivity on it, but there was a lot of noise around it when it first opened, Tito Rabat was involved in the layout design if I remember rightly, think its proximity to Almeria hasn't helped as that gets pushed hard, layout looks ok .. but looks quite flat ... unlike an Aragon or Portimao,, sure it would be fun though ....
It's been reworked since it's original supershit, wobbly, wibbly layout. I did the joined to Almeria layout last month, I personally didn't like the Andalucia bit. Flat, featureless and very few visual references. I thought many corners were like staring down the end of an infinity pool.
Of the two on the same site Almeria is much nicer and easier to get on with. Andalucia is dam fiddly, I know they changed it a bit but I won’t be rushing back.
Yep, it's the track. Doesn't sound too great. Got two mates going and flights to alicante are looking really cheap. Got to be better than a wet and cold british January???
Doh! Put plates on your bike and do the Ronda road, that’s great. But you’re right about British January weather.
I really like the idea of the long joined up Almeria and Andalucia track but have never really heard anyone saying much positive things about it. I'm sure the 959 would be good there anyhow, certainly beats the UK in winter.
