Thats possible too; though the current opinion is that due to the housing and lack of ownership oppourtunities for the young people (got a 40 year old son still at home?) this will change. Conventional wisdom is that as people have traditionally aged, they have aquired more wealth, which perhaps made them wiser, but could have simply made them less willing to part with it hence a move from socialism? If so the Tories will react and press for PR.
I doubt very much that many users of this site would have given one shite about politicians or politics in their 20's. Way too busy getting drunk and waking up on a hedge
Wtf, 40 and still at home? Pay rent. I've absolutely no time for those crying about not able to buy a house.
manchester united are playing manchester united.......is the result out yet.....oh a victory for ...manchester united..and they now cant get rid of manchester united for a whole year...thatll shut them up when they hit the bottom.
I agree, but many helicopter parents want the kids to remain at home so they can save up and buy a house? Presumably there has to be a reason that there are lots of old kids still living at home with the consent of their even older parents!
Fin, the snp can't be trusted on figures, they think a generation...is two months. Even Diane Abicus laughed her tits off at your maths
If the Tory party or Labour slip from being one of the two potential winners in the FPTP system we currently use, it will be due to a lack of votes. So rather than their votes -that placed candidates in second place- counting for nothing, a PR system would mean these votes would accord them representation based on percentage share of the entire vote. Sorry my explanation is'nt the best, I'm in the middle of something else!
