?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Not millionaire old Etonian Tories??

  5. A war. That’d unite the country. Always has in the past and always will in the future.

I’m just waiting for this current crop of idiot politicians to realise it and spark something off.

Trump is doing the same by claiming the rest of the world is against the USA

  7. No mate. Old Etonians are not even in the same league as the folks who are actually pulling the strings of our puppet-politicians and making policy. You are more than twenty years out of date, perhaps even longer.

Yeah, yeah, conspiracy theory, blah blah. Is capitalism a conspiracy? No, it is a system that broadly speaking, works. Business and societies employ the capitalist, free-market economic model because it is the least awful of all systems generally known and tried to date. It is popular not because it is a conspiracy but because many people know what it is and what it can do for them and their communities.

Billionaires, think tanks , big banks, all supported by compliant politicians, activist media moguls (is it true that the global media are owned by only six individuals?) have hit upon the next socio-economic system, the successor to capitalism. Globalism - which appears to be a hybrid of corporatism, communism and a good helping of post-modernist marxism. This is the future.

The means to start and run a business will increasingly be controlled through the use of regulation. Small businesses will soon be no longer able to run because they cannot afford the cost of compliance, whilst large businesses benefitting from the economies of scale will have access to legal help in staying within the guidelines, not to mention having access to lobbyists who can influence rule makers to their own corporation's advantage.

This is where wealth creation will come from in the future - corporations. A patina of "democracy" a fraction of a millimetre deep will cover the machinery of an unelected government and it will make the current EU look like an anarchist state.

Mark my words. This is where we are headed. Doubt it?
Try May's "deal", try the behaviour of the EU in the face of nation state defiance, try the UN Migrant Compact, the importation of cheap labour from abroad in Western countries, the dissolution of traditional communities and nation states. Join all the different dots together, they re not separate issues.

  9. I love experts. They are hilarious.

My favourites are economists and climatologists but to illustrate what I mean, consider the plight of a legal expert.

Politician - We want to do *this*
    Legal Expert - You can't, it's illegal
Media - It can't be done
Public - IT CAN'T BE DONE! Ha ha, you losers, you can't do it, Legal Expert said so.
Politician - Cool, changing the law now ... Can we do *this* now?
Legal Expert - Yes, that is legal

Meanwhile, the media and the public are forced into a terminal tailspin because "IT CAN'T BE DONE" suddenly becomes "It Can Be Done" and folks are left feeling hurt and angry.

Experts have their uses, certainly but most people do not understand their limitations. Which I find funny.

  10. Deleting my initial response ... : o D

We will always e vulnerable to the dark force (whatever the hell that is!)

All I ask is we don't walk in lockstep with it and become its UK enablers.

    Cool?

  14. A lot of people would say staying in the EU is self-harming madness.
The shame of it all is that so few people can see that there is good and bad on both sides of the argument, it all gets so tribal and abusive which does not help . Much bullshit spoken by both sides and I imagine that on both sides some voters made up their own minds , some were swayed one way or the other, some were too thick to know what to do and some did what they were told to do.
I know you can say anything with figures but I have just checked the referendum vote count. According to what I saw Leave polled 17410742 and Remain 16141241. Presuming that is correct Remain would have needed an 8% (approx) increase in their vote to match leave. That is not an insignificant figure , think about it,Remain needed to increase their vote by 8% or 1269501 voters just to to match Leave.
It will be an absolute disgrace if a majority of nearly 1.3 million voters is ignored and we dont leave the EU. Even those that voted Remain should be horrified at the principle of the result being ignored in what is supposedly a democratic country.
May`s deal as it stands is perfectly described as BRINO, and as such it is a disgrace too.

  17. I notice that Remainders are implying that there should be controls on who is allowed to vote.

Currently, the rules allow for almost any adult resident of the UK to cast a vote. Clearly, this needs to be addressed. Perhaps people putting ticks which are obviously in the wrong box means their vote should be disposed of safely rather than counted.

Voting Reform. I bet The Lib Dems are just the good folks to get the ball rolling on this. They seem fair minded and utterly rational.
