Yes it's the best engine from the 916/998 range because of the change in head design and they are all climbing fast in value,so just take your time and purchased the right one.
So how many 998Ss were sold across Europe and how can you tell whether a bike is a genuine UK model or not? TIA
Did you buy, YES? If NO please can you post the sellers details as I will buy. I'm a second owner of a RED 998SBIP with factory / shop fitted from new; Termi, ECU, carbon belly pan, Mono seat. It even has Exactfit belts..... I've all the original parts. MOds include slipper clutch (a must for the track IMHO).... Never crashed, very nice example, but not showroom.... FDSH, 14K miles previous owner was sales director of Everest Double glazing and he never rode it in the wet...... I rode it home from Sheffield in the Snow!! FYI I wouldn't sell and value it as £14,500 with all the bits...... Whenever she's out people come up and chat, petrol station, car park...anywhere.....universally loved by the public.. The 916 is widely reported to be the sexiest motorcycle of all time..... the public think it's one of them.
I would think a 998 with a deep sump motor has got to be one of the best versions of the 916 Model to buy??? If I was in the market it's that or a FILA 999R
Ladies and gentlemen, just stopped at the services, but let me introduce the new addition to the family
