Was hectic when we lost our previous springer. She was OK with people but she would eat any dog that past the gate. Big black lab used to get chased regularly. Shook the neighbours dog like a rag doll, luckily it was OK. A bit of a character but needed watching. Swore I wouldn't have another dog, but of course we did.
Us too, the mother-in-law has a little Lakeland terrier cross. Love nothing more than taking her for walks when we visit.
Know what you mean. Lost our springer about 18 months go. He was a great family dog, very easy going. Until food was involved, he would just take food from anywhere Said we wouldn’t get another dog and I’m sitting here typing with our year old GSD sat next to me.
